On this Day

The day begins with a guided tour of Kirindy Reserve during the daytime hours.  The forest is bustling with activity, home to various kinds of lemurs, including Verreaux's sifaka, which is known for its graceful, upright leaps through the trees.  This dry deciduous woodland is home to over forty bird species, as well as various reptiles and amphibians, making it a naturalist's dream.  Following the tour, the group heads north to Bekopaka, a small settlement that serves as the entrance to the spectacular Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park.

On this Day

Following breakfast, a full-day guided excursion exposes the beauties of Tsingy de Bemaraha, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  This park is famous for its spectacular limestone formations—razor-sharp peaks carved by time and erosion.  The adventure offers a variety of circuits to suit different levels of fitness and curiosity.  In this bizarre setting, the dry forests support a diverse assortment of vegetation, including baobabs, aloe, orchids, and the beautiful flamboyant tree.  The wildlife is similarly interesting, with rare chameleons, numerous bird species, and a variety of lemurs, including Decken's sifaka.  Following a picnic lunch provided by your guide, the tour continues into the Small Tsingy before returning to Morondava. Along the way, two enchanting stops await: Baobab Amoureux, with its interwoven trees symbolizing eternal love, and the Avenue of the Baobabs, where the sunset sun paints the landscape in gold and scarlet.

On this Day

After breakfast, the company heads back to Morondava, pausing for lunch at the riverside town of Belo sur Tsiribihina.  The journey includes spectacular stops at Baobab Amoureux and the Avenue of the Baobabs, providing another opportunity to experience the renowned natural beauty that marks Madagascar's western coast.  When you arrive in Morondava, you will be transferred to your hotel for a relaxing evening to reflect on your exploits from the previous days.

On this Day

Following breakfast, the tour continues with a return flight to Antananarivo.  Depending on your arrival time in the capital, you may be able to visit La Digue's famed artisan market to acquire local souvenirs and handicrafts before taking your international flight home.  The journey closes with a flight back to Karachi, Lahore, or Islamabad, bringing with you memorable memories of Madagascar's vast landscapes, unusual species, and lively culture.
