Rush Lake Trek 2018-2019
Rush Lake Trek is a light adventure for first timers in the Karakoram Range. Rush Lake is the one of the world’s highest alpine lakes and it is Pakistan’s highest lake at an altitute of over 4,700 meters.
During the trek you will experience the gigantic views of peaks of Nagar and Hunza Valley. While trekking towards Rush lake you will cross glaciers, high meadows and terraced fields of beautiful Nagar valley. This is one amazingly refreshing journey as it offers a chance to embrace the wilderness of mother nature.
Itinerary – Rush Lake Trek
Day 01: Islamabad/Rawalpindi
Day 02: Drive to Chilas on Karakorum highway
Day 03: Drive to Karimabad along with Hunza River
Day 04: Drive to Hopper village and Trek to Bericho Kor (3,300 m)
Day 05: Trek to Chidin Harai (4,440 m)
Day 06: Rush Lake Trek (4,694 m)
Day 07: Free day or climb Rush Peak (5,098 m)
Day 08: Trek to Phahi Phari (3,450 m)
Day 09: Trek to Hamdar (3,300 m)
Day 10: Trek down to Hopper valley and drive to Karimabad
Day 11: Free day in Hunza valley
Day 12: Drive to Besham
Day 13: Drive to Islamabad
Day 14: Transfer to Islamabad airport for international fight

Domestic tourists should send an inquiry for prices (PKR) and itinerary as the above itinerary is designed for foreign tourists. These costs above include invitations, NOC, additional arrangements and logistics given below.

- Send an inquiry requesting a spot on the fixed departures by providing your details [Full Name (as printed on passport), Nationality & Departure Date]
- Wait for registration form and payment options (24-72 hours)
- Submit your deposit (USD 750) to confirm your spot. Once payment is received, we will send you a confirmation email confirming your spot on the tour.
- Our representatives will guide you further regarding visa process etc. You will only start your visa application after approval from our office with supporting documents provided by us.
- Pay balance amount after visa approval or in some cases upon arrival in Islamabad on the first day.
- Book your flights after consultation with our office.
Notes
- Our trekking holiday prices will not change once you have paid the deposit so the price when you book is the price you will pay.
- Make your bookings early to avoid increase in holiday prices.
- Separate hotel rooms (single supplement) will cost additional 290 US Dollars. This includes all hotel nights. This payment should be made with the balance amount.
- Separate tent (single tent) will cost additional 120 US Dollars. This includes cost of additional porterage. This payment should be made with the balance amount.
Refund policy
Deposit: Once paid, the deposit is non-refundable as it will be spent on making in-country arrangements. In case of visa rejection, a refund/partial-refund (if costs incurred) will be considered. In such cases, a valid proof of visa rejection must be submitted to our office within 72 hours of rejection.
Balance: If you cancel after paying the balance, the following will apply to the balance amount:
- Up to May 10, 2018 – 50% refundable
- After May 10, 2018 – non-refundable
