Day 02: Fly to Skardu
On this Day
In the morning, you will fly from Islamabad to Skardu for stunning aerial views of the Karakoram range, featuring peaks such as Nanga Parbat on a clear day. Upon arrival, transfer to your accommodation and spend the day adjusting to the altitude. You can explore the local bazaar or unwind by the Indus River while preparing for the upcoming hike.
Day 03: Drive to Thallay Valley
On this Day
After breakfast, take a jeep drive to the lovely Thallay Valley. The route follows rocky mountain roads with breathtaking scenery of rivers, villages, and terraced farms. You will travel through distant Balti settlements, providing an insight into indigenous culture and traditions. When you arrive in Thallay, you will meet your hiking crew and porters. Set up camp and enjoy the tranquil surroundings while you prepare for the journey the next day.
Day 04: Trek to Dubla Khan Camp
On this Day
The hike begins with a slow ascent via alpine meadows and steep routes toward Dubla Khan Camp. The trail winds through streams and pasture meadows frequented by local shepherds. As you climb higher, snow-capped peaks become more visible. After several hours of trekking, you will arrive at Dubla Khan, a picturesque campsite surrounded by rocky terrain, where you will recover and prepare for the difficult climb ahead.
Day 05: Tusserpo La Pass (5,084m)

Today is the most difficult but rewarding day of the trek, as you travel to Tusserpo La Pass at 5,084 meters. The ascent includes steep stretches across rocky and frequently snowy terrain, necessitating consistent pacing and stamina. When you approach the pass, you are rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding Karakoram peaks. After spending some time relaxing and enjoying the scenery, you'll camp near the pass in a spectacular high-altitude environment.
Day 06: Trek Down to Shigar Side Camp

After an early breakfast, start your descent from the high-altitude pass to the Shigar side. The trail progressively descends through glacial terrain, rocky slopes, and finally lush pastures. The descent provides a fresh view of the area, with large valleys opening beneath. Trekking at a leisurely pace, you will arrive at the Shigar side camp by the afternoon, where you may unwind and recover from the previous day's rigorous ascent.
Day 07: Trek to Shigar Valley – Drive to Skardu

Continue your journey down toward the stunning Shigar Valley, where the terrain becomes more inviting with visible greenery and little villages. The trail traverses through traditional villages, providing opportunities to connect with locals and learn about Balti culture. When you reach the roadhead, cars will be ready to transport you back to Skardu. The drive provides stunning views, signaling the conclusion of your trekking experience and a return to luxury.
Day 08: Explore Skardu
On this Day
This day is dedicated to discovering Skardu and its neighboring attractions. Shigar Fort, Shangrila Resort, and Upper Kachura Lake are all possible stops. Following the trek, the day can be spent relaxing, photographing, and exploring cultural sites. Before leaving, you can browse for local handicrafts or simply enjoy Baltistan's breathtaking surroundings.
Day 09: Fly to Islamabad
On this Day
After breakfast, transfer to Skardu Airport for your trip back to Islamabad. Weather permitting, the flight will again provide stunning aerial views of the Karakoram and Himalayan peaks. When you arrive in Islamabad, get transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure, last-minute shopping, or visiting city sights, ensuring a smooth transition from the mountains to metropolitan life.
Day 10: Fly to home country
On this Day
Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to Islamabad International Airport to continue your journey home. This concludes your Tusserpo La Pass walking excursion. As you leave, you'll have vivid memories of stunning scenery, steep mountain passes, and cultural experiences in Baltistan. The trip leaves an indelible image of one of Pakistan's most remote and rewarding trekking trails.
Why Register Early?
1. Early Bird Discount: The given prices for the holiday are limited-time discount offers and are subject to change. Service providers including (but not limited) to airlines and hotels increase prices in peak-season. Early reservations cost less than peak-season.
2. Limited Flight Seats: Domestic flight seats to the Karakorams and Himalayas are sold out way ahead of time because there are only two daily flights during peak season. Among other things, the deposit is used to book domestic flights for you in advance.
3. Pay Balance after arrival in Pakistan: In these unusual times, we appreciate that paying the final balance for your trip may cause concern. Our policy is to only receive your final balance once you arrive in Pakistan. The only payment before arrival is the deposit.
4. Deposit valid for 3 years: We understand the uncertainty surrounding the pandemic (Covid-19). As part of our relaxed booking conditions following Covid-19, deposits are valid for 2 years.
6. Pay Minimum Deposit: The deposits for the holiday are also early-bird discounts and automatically change accordingly:

Refund Policy for All
Deposit: Once paid, the deposit is non-refundable (but valid for 2 years) as it will be spent on making in-country arrangements.
Balance: Pay the balance only after arrival in Pakistan on the first day. Payment guidelines will be shared timely.
Currency
All international travelers can pay in US Dollars (USD) or equivalent in Euros (EUR) or Pound Sterling (GBP). Pakistani travelers are charged the equivalent in Pakistani Rupees (PKR).
Single Supplement
Separate hotel rooms (single supplement) will cost an additional USD 290. This includes all hotel nights. This payment should be made with the balance upon arrival.
Separate tents (single tent) will cost an additional USD 180. This includes the cost of additional porterage. This payment should also be made with the balance in Pakistan.
