The itinerary for the trek is given below.

On this Day

Leave Phander and head toward Langar via Teru and the upper Ghizer Valley, where the terrain broadens, becomes calmer, and becomes more alpine. Arrive near Langar, set up camp or use available local accommodations, and organize trekking equipment, food, and porter loads. Take a moderate walk around the valley to acclimate to the elevation while seeing the streams, grazing meadows, and nearby peaks. A local guide can also examine the trail, river crossing, and weather conditions before the lake arrives.

On this Day

Begin hiking from the Langar trailhead into Khukush Nallah, following the stream through open meadows, sparse woods, rocky portions, and gradually climbing alpine territory. The path may involve cautious stream crossings and steady movement across difficult terrain. Continue toward Khukush Lake, also known as Baha Lake, which is located at an elevation of roughly 3,622 metres. On arrival, set up a tent on safe elevated ground and take in the expansive views of the long turquoise lake, surrounding mountains, wildflowers, and trout-rich waters.

On this Day

After taking in the final vistas of Khukush Lake, begin the return walk across Khukush Nallah towards Langar. Follow the familiar track through alpine meadows, rocky portions, and stream crossings before meeting the vehicle near the trailhead. Continue on the road across the upper Ghizer scenery to Phandar Valley. After finishing the main hiking portion, stay at a guesthouse and relax near the river, surrounded by lush fields, tranquil villages, and mountain beauty.

On this Day

Drive along the Gilgit-Shandur Road from Phandar Valley to Gahkuch, following the Ghizer River via picturesque villages and agricultural valleys. Pass via Gupis and stop near Khalti Lake to view the peaceful waters and surrounding mountains.
