The excursion introduces the cultural change from the federal capital to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's particular heritage.

Visit the old city, Qissa Khwani Bazaar, Mahabat Khan Mosque, and the traditional market streets lined with local goods and food vendors. Continue to the Peshawar Museum, which is noted for its Gandhara collection and regional history. Walk through heritage neighborhoods to see old architecture, wooden balconies, and bustling commercial streets that capture the essence of this ancient frontier city.

On this Day

Stop near Taxila to tour certain archeological sites or the museum, depending on accessibility and interest. Continue to Islamabad and check into your hotel. The route combines history with shifting scenery, and the return to the city serves as a handy connection for the next leg of the tour into Gilgit-Baltistan.

On this Day

Travel from Islamabad to Skardu, via the breathtaking mountain scenery of Gilgit-Baltistan. After arriving, transfer to your hotel and familiarize yourself with Skardu's surroundings. Explore the small bazaar, neighboring vistas, and the vast Indus Valley surrounded by towering mountains. Spring provides new hues to agricultural areas and orchards, while snow remains on higher peaks, producing a remarkable seasonal contrast throughout the valley.

On this Day

Explore Skardu and the surrounding natural wonders. Visit Upper Kachura Lake, which is surrounded by mountains and seasonal vegetation, then Lower Kachura with its lovely lakeside setting. Continue to Katpana Cold Desert, where pale dunes contrast with steep mountain ranges. Later, return to Skardu and enjoy the views of the Indus Valley. Baltistan's diverse geography is reflected in its lakes, desert landscapes, orchards, and snow-covered peaks.

Visit the reconstructed Shigar Fort and explore the neighboring hamlet lanes, which depict Balti architecture and culture. Before arriving at Hunza, you'll pass through dramatic river basins and shifting rock formations. Visit Rakaposhi View Point for stunning views of the mountain and nearby communities. On this Day

Explore Central Hunza, where medieval forts, old villages, and spring orchards define the landscape. Visit the Baltit Fort above Karimabad and learn about Hunza's past kings. Continue to Altit Fort and the traditional hamlet that surrounds it. Wander around the small streets, terraced farms, and blossom-filled orchards. The day mixes cultural history with close-up views of Ultar Sar, Ladyfinger Peak, and other famous mountains in the region.

On this Day

The Karakoram Highway leads into Upper Hunza. Stop at Attabad Lake, where the blue lake contrasts with the surrounding stark mountains. Continue through the tunnels to Gulmit, where traditional dwellings and hamlet alleys reflect Wakhi culture. Proceed to Passu to see the spectacular Passu Cones and the surrounding glacial scenery. Spring landscapes, mountain villages, and the upper Hunza environment make this one of the tour's most scenic routes.

On this Day

Explore the Nagar Valley, which is located across the Hunza River from central Hunza. Travel past villages, orchards, and terraced fields with panoramic views of Rakaposhi and the surrounding peaks. Visit chosen settlements and viewpoints that reflect Nagar's gentler rural character. Spring blossoms provide color to the valley, particularly near farmed areas. Return to Hunza after exploring the region's landscapes, village life, and nearby mountain views.

On this Day

The Karakoram Highway leads from Hunza to Gilgit. Before arriving in Gilgit, the administrative headquarters of Gilgit-Baltistan, visit some of the area's scenic spots and historical landmarks. Explore the local bazaar and, depending on the weather, explore neighboring cultural or historical sites. Continue your journey to Islamabad by scheduled flight when available, with road travel as an option when necessary. Arrive in Islamabad and transfer to your hotel.

On this Day
