Explore the Inema Arts Center, a creative hub for local artists, followed by a visit to the Presidential Museum, which depicts Rwanda's modern political history.  Finish your city tour with visits to the Camp Kigali Memorial, the Natural History Museum, and the Campaign Against Genocide Museum before departing for Nyungwe Forest National Park.  On arrival, check into your lodge, which is surrounded by stunning rainforest views, and relax for the evening.

The day is spent visiting the lush Nyungwe Forest, a biodiversity hotspot with 13 different species of monkeys.  Explore the deep jungle in search of chimpanzees, accompanied by trained trackers who will allow you watch these amazing creatures in their natural environment.  As they swing through the treetops, you can see their vibrant behavior and humanlike emotions.  After your meeting, head back to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.  Later, visit the Gisakura Tea Estate to learn about the tea farming process and take in the calm view of rolling green hills before retiring to your lodging for the evening.

After breakfast, take a leisurely journey to Volcanoes National Park, passing through the charming villages of Kibuye and Gisenyi, both famed for their lakeside beauty.  Upon arrival and check-in, head to the Dian Fossey Museum, which honors the pioneering primatologist whose impact revolutionized global mountain gorilla conservation efforts.  Take a guided stroll into the forest to witness the remains of her research station and her final burial place with her beloved gorillas.  The excursion includes sights of rare species and an insight of Rwanda's dedication to preserve its diverse ecosystems.  Return to your lodge for a relaxing meal surrounded by misty volcanic peaks.
