Day 02: Tashkent – Samarkand
On this Day
After breakfast, meet your guide for a comprehensive city tour of Tashkent. Visit Amir Temur Square, Tashkent Chimes, and Theatre Square, which houses the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre named after Alisher Navoi. Continue to Independence Square, where you will find monuments and the Earthquake Memorial, which commemorates the 1966 repair efforts. Explore the Khast Imam Square complex, which includes the Barakkhan Madrasah, the Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum, and the library containing the ancient Quran Othman. Later, move to the railway station and take the high-speed train to Samarkand. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 03: Samarkand – Bukhara

Breakfast in the hotel. Meet your guide and experience Samarkand's architectural marvels. Visit the Gur Emir Mausoleum, the resting site of Timur and his descendants, which is lavishly embellished with gold embellishments. Continue to Registan Square, which includes the Ulughbek, Sherdor, and Tilla Kori Madrasahs. Explore the majestic Bibi Khanim Mosque and the Shahi Zinda Necropolis Complex. Visit Ulugbek's Observatory, one of the most important medieval astronomy institutes, and explore the bustling Siyab Bazaar. Transfer to the railway station and take a train to Bukhara. Transfer to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 04: Full-Day Bukhara Tour

After breakfast, take a walking tour of Bukhara's old center. Visit the Lyabi Hauz ensemble, which includes the Kukeldash and Nadir Divanbegi Madrasahs, as well as Khodja Nasreddin's monument. Explore the historic Magoki Attari Mosque and Abdullakhan's Tim, which is loaded with handicrafts. Visit Caravanserai Sayfuddin and the trading domes of Toki Sarrofon, Toki Telpak Furushon, and Toki Zargaron. Day 05: Bukhara – BP – Mary – Ashgabat

Return to Mary and visit the Merv History Museum to learn about the region's rich history. Later, fly to Ashgabat. After arriving at Ashgabat Airport, transfer to your hotel and check in. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 06: Ashgabat – Darvaza

Breakfast in the hotel. Begin your tour in Ashgabat by visiting the Ertogrul Gazy Mosque, Independence Park, which includes the Independence Monument, and the rotating Neutrality Arch. Explore the National Museum, which houses relics from Ancient Merv and Nissa, and then visit the UNESCO site of Ancient Nissa. Continue to Turkmenbashi Mosque-Mausoleum, surrounded by gardens and fountains. Later, travel through the Karakum Desert to the Darvaza gas crater, sometimes known as the "Gate of Hell," which has been blazing continuously since 1971. Enjoy a camp-style meal near the crater and spend the night in a traditional yurt.
Day 07: Darvaza – Kunya Urgench – Khiva

After breakfast at the camp, head to Kunya Urgench for sightseeing. Visit the Mausoleums of Nadzhimetdin Kubra, Torebeg-Hanym, Mamun Minaret, Kutlug-Timur Minaret, Kyrkmolla, and Arslan II, all of which highlight the city's medieval greatness. Continue to the Turkmen-Uzbek border at Shavat/Dashoguz to satisfy passport and visa requirements. Meet your guide and driver on the Uzbekistan side, then transfer to Khiva. When you arrive, check into your hotel and relax. Overnight stay at a hotel in Khiva.
Day 08: Khiva – Urgench – Tashkent

Breakfast in the hotel. Begin a walking tour of Ichan-Kala, Khiva's inner town and open-air museum. Explore Ata-Darvaza, Kunya Ark, Muhammad Rahim Khan and Muhammad Aminhan Madrasahs, Kalta Minor, and Tash Hauli Palace. Explore the Caravanserai and Tim Allakulihan, Seyd Allaudin's Mausoleum, the Islam-Khoja Minaret and Madrasah, and the Jami Mosque, which has a minaret. Later, travel to Urgench Airport for your journey to Tashkent. Upon arrival, meet the driver and be transferred to the hotel. Stay in Tashkent overnight.
Day 09: Departure to home country
On this Day
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Tashkent International Airport for your return flight home. Complete the departure process and board your foreign flight. This closes your remarkable trip to Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, where you visited ancient Silk Road cities, magnificent architectural wonders, desert vistas, and UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
