Day 02: Tashkent – Urgench – Khiva

Travel to the local airport for your journey to Urgench. Upon arrival, meet your driver and proceed to Khiva, which is around 30 kilometers distant. Transfer to the hotel to drop off your bags before embarking on a guided walking tour of Khiva's historical center, Ichan Kala, Central Asia's largest open-air museum. Visit Ata-Darvaza and Kunya-Ark, Muhammad Rahim Khan and Muhammad Aminhan Madrassahs, Kalta Minor, Tash Hauli Palace, Caravanserai and Tim Allakulihan, Seyd Allaudin's Mausoleum, Islam-Khoja Madrassah and Minaret, and Jami Mosque with its minaret. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 03: Full-Day Khiva Tour

Day 04: Khiva – Bukhara

Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a journey from Khiva to Bukhara by automobile via the huge Kyzylkum Desert or train, as scheduled. If traveling by train, transfer to the station and enjoy the picturesque ride across the desert landscapes before arriving in Bukhara. Upon arrival, meet your driver and transfer to your hotel. Bukhara, one of Central Asia's oldest cities, is known for its beautifully preserved medieval architecture and deep spiritual significance along the Silk Road. After checking into your accommodation, take some time to relax and plan your next adventure. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: Full-Day Bukhara Tour

Breakfast at the hotel and a meeting with your guide to begin a walking sightseeing tour of Bukhara. Visit the Lyabi Hauz Ensemble, which includes Nadir Divanbegi Madrassa, Khanaka and Kukeldash Madrassa, as well as Khodja Nasreddin's monument. Discover Magoki Attari Mosque, Abdullakhan's Tim, Caravanserai Sayfuddin, and the trading domes of Toki Sarrofon, Toki Telpak Furushon, and Toki Zargaron. Day 07: Full-Day Samarkand Tour

Breakfast at the hotel, then meet with your guide to begin your sightseeing in Samarkand. Visit the beautiful Gur-e-Amir Mausoleum, the final resting place of Timur and his family. Continue to the renowned Registan, which is framed by Ulughbek, Sherdor, and Tilla Kori Madrassahs. Explore the Bibi Khanim Mosque, historically one of the largest in Islam, as well as the Shahi Zinda Necropolis, which features ornate mausoleums. Day 08: Explore Samarkand

Breakfast at the hotel, then meet your guide for a tour of the region surrounding Samarkand. Visit the Mausoleum of Khoji Doniyor, also known as Saint Daniel, who is venerated as a patron saint and where tourists seek graces under the almond tree and holy spring. Continue to the Meros paper plant in Konigil village to see how traditional silk paper making processes have been preserved over decades. Then, visit the Hudjum carpet factory to see the difficult process of weaving magnificent handmade carpets. Following the trip, return to your accommodation and relax. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 09: Samarkand – Penjikent – Khujand

Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a transfer to the Jartepa border crossing into Tajikistan. Following border formalities, meet your Tajik guide and driver and go to Penjikent, an old Sogdian city on the Zeravshan River. Visit the UNESCO-listed Sarazm ancient site and see the ruins of old Penjikent, a thriving Silk Road trading hub. Continue to Istaravshan, one of Tajikistan's oldest cities, to see the Mazori Sharif Mausoleum, Kog Gumbaz Madrasa, and the remains of the Kuhi Mug castle. Proceed to Khujand to check into a hotel and spend the night there.
Day 10: Full-Day Khujand Tour

Breakfast at the hotel, followed by sightseeing in Khujand, Tajikistan's second-largest and oldest city, also known as Alexandria Eschate. Explore Timur Malik's Fortress and the Sugd Museum after seeing Pushkin Square and Kamoli Khudjandi Square. Explore the Muslihiddin mausoleum complex and walk through the bustling Panjshanbe Bazaar, one of the country's oldest markets. End with a visit to the spectacular Arbob Palace, an architectural icon that reflects area political history. Return to the hotel and spend some time at leisure. Stay overnight in Khujand.
Day 11: Khujand – Kokand – Fergana
