Day 01: Chitral – Bamboret Valley Tour – Chitral
Depart Chitral and head south to Ayun, then take the narrow route into Bamboret Valley, the largest of the three Kalash valleys. Continue through alpine landscapes, terraced fields, orchards, and traditional communities bordered by the Hindu Kush. Visit the Kalasha Dur Museum to learn about local history, beliefs, costumes, household items, and cultural traditions. Walk around surrounding Kalash villages to see unique wooden dwellings, irrigation channels, and community areas while adhering to local customs and photography ethics.
