Depart Chitral and take the Garam Chashma Road to Shoghore, where the road turns into Karimabad Valley. Continue on narrow mountain roads alongside the Susoom River, past agricultural fields, orchards, willow trees, and small communities. When you arrive in Susoom, explore the area and take in the views of verdant meadows, high pastures, and the Hindu Kush mountains that surround it. Wander around accessible village trails, witnessing local crops and traditional rural life. Continue to adjacent viewpoints for photos of the valley and the stunning river environment. After the visit, use the same road through Karimabad and Shoghore to return safely to Chitral.
