Day 01: Full-Day Birir Valley Excursion from Chitral
Depart Chitral and drive to Birir, one of Lower Chitral’s three Kalash valleys. Enter the valley via the narrow mountain road and carry on to Guru, which is noted for its Kalash dwellings and cultural sites. Walk through the village to see the local architecture, terraced fields, orchards, and daily community life. Continue to Ghaz Guru and Aspar, following the picturesque Birir trekking trail through oak woodland and hillside communities. Learn about Kalash traditions, seasonal farming, and native handicrafts while touring the valley with respect. After the visit, drive back via the Kalash region before returning to Chitral. Along the route, enjoy peaceful mountain scenery.
