Day 02: Tashkent – Urgench – Khiva
On this Day
After breakfast, head to the airport for a domestic flight to Urgench. Upon arrival, tourists are greeted by Apricot Tours staff and taken to the medieval city of Khiva. After leaving your luggage at the hotel, a guided walking tour begins inside Ichan-Kala, the inner walled city and open-air museum. The tour includes Ata-Darvaza, Kunya-Ark, the madrassahs of Muhammad Rahim Khan and Muhammad Amin Khan, Kalta Minor, Tash Hauli Palace with its former harem, caravanserai, and trading domes, Seyd Allaudin's mausoleum, the Islam Khoja complex, and the Jami Mosque with its minaret. The day closes with free time and a stay at the hotel.
Day 03: Khiva – Bukhara

Breakfast is served at the hotel before departing from Khiva for Bukhara either road or rail, depending on the schedule. Day 06: Sentab – Samarkand

The drive continues toward Samarkand, passing through gorgeous landscapes and seeing everyday local life along the way. Upon arriving in Samarkand, visitors are transferred to their accommodation and checked in. The remainder of the day is free to unwind after the drive or to explore this fabled Silk Road city's adjacent streets and attractions on your own. Samarkand's distinct atmosphere, which combines historic structures with modern activity, creates an unforgettable environment for rest before the next day's sightseeing. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 07: Samarkand – Tashkent

Breakfast at the hotel is followed by a guided sightseeing tour of Samarkand's most famous sites. The journey begins at the Gur Emir Mausoleum, the final resting place of Amir Timur and his successors, and then moves on to the majestic Registan Square, which features three great madrassahs.
