Itinerary – Vanuatu Tour Package from Pakistan

The itinerary for the Vanuatu Tour from Pakistan appears below.

On this Day

The day is spent seeing some of Efate's most stunning areas, starting with a short drive to the exclusive kayak base on the Rentapao River.  You kayak calmly along this gorgeous canal for several hours, learning about the rainforest and village life that define the region.  A French-style lunch by the river provides a quiet pause before proceeding upstream to the river cascades, where swimming and unwinding in the cool pools is a wonderful getaway.  When you return to Port Vila, you will have time to explore the city and choose an optional supper destination.

On this Day

Travel continues to the renowned southern island of Tanna, which is reachable via an Air Vanuatu flight from Port Vila. After landing, you are transferred to a gorgeous coastal bungalow that will serve as your temporary home for the night. Following a traditional local lunch, you set out on the first of several memorable Tanna treks, headed toward what is regarded as the world's largest banyan tree, sitting on a ridge overlooking the shoreline. The road winds past villages, gardens, and rainforests, where encounters with inhabitants recognized for their cheerful demeanor add warmth to the experience. A quick break at a kava bar introduces you to local drinks before returning to the bungalow for sunset views, whale watching during the season, dinner with your party, and time around the campfire.

On this Day

The journey continues with a drive across Tanna to new accommodation near a John Frum town nestled in the woods at the foot of the island's smouldering volcano.  Depending on road conditions, a refreshing dip in the Sulphur Bay hot springs may be included before proceeding to Port Resolution, which is named after one of Captain Cook's vessels.  After lunch, you return to the foot of Mt Yasur and continue your adventure to the crater rim, either hiking along the rough terrain or driving.  As you approach the summit, the ground trembles and the volcano's roar intensifies, revealing a stunning flame spectacle.  The return to your oceanfront bungalow is capped off with a late shared dinner.

On this Day

Those who want to see the volcano in a different light might return for a second visit.  After breakfast, the company travels deep into Tanna's jungle-covered highlands to visit a typical 'kastom' settlement.  Here, you'll learn about rites of passage, traditional rituals, and the community's symbolic tie to Prince Philip, giving you a rare glimpse into a way of life that has withstood many modern influences.  Lunch is served at a local café in town, followed by a stop to a coffee shop that serves island-grown beans.  Later, you'll return to the airport for your flight back to Port Vila, where you can spend the rest of the day at leisure.

On this Day

The following chapter transports you from Port Vila to the peaceful paradise of Pele Island.  The tour includes a lovely drive to Emua Wharf, with a stop at a local coffee roastery along the route.  A short boat journey takes you to Pele's shores, where a seaside native lunch awaits.  Snorkeling in the lagoon or marine conservation area provides vistas of colorful fish, occasional turtles, vivid corals, and small underwater canyons.  Later, a boat transfer brings you to Nguna for a rewarding volcano walk that lasts several hours, while those looking for a lighter experience can go for milder walks through Pele's lovely towns.  The women of the community host coastal bungalows for overnight accommodations.

On this Day

After breakfast, your spectacular Vanuatu tour comes to an end as you prepare to return to Karachi, Lahore, or Islamabad, with fond recollections of rainforest rivers, old civilizations, volcano panoramas, and peaceful island life.
