On this Day

After breakfast, the travel begins to Kalam Valley via the lovely Swat region. The route offers stunning scenery, going through towns such as Madyan and Bahrain, where brief breaks allow for refreshments and the discovery of local culture. The route follows the Swat River, affording scenic vistas along the way. Upon arrival in Kalam in the evening, visitors will check into a hotel and rest. The cool mountain air and peaceful surroundings set the tone for the journey, preparing everyone for the upcoming high-altitude thrills.

On this Day

This day kicks off the genuine adventure of the trip with a thrilling 4x4 jeep excursion to Mahodand Lake. The path goes through deep Ushu Forest, where guests can take a short break to appreciate the peaceful surroundings and tall pine trees. Continuing, the difficult trail leads to the breathtaking alpine lake surrounded by snow-capped peaks. The day is spent exploring, photographing, and immersing in nature. By evening, participants have settled into campers beside the lake, enjoying a tranquil night beneath the stars.

On this Day

The hike begins with an easy and lovely stroll along running streams from the Dadreli and Kachigani valleys. The terrain is reasonably easy, making it an excellent place to get acclimated to trekking conditions. Along the trip, tiny communities can be seen, and inhabitants are frequently seen fishing in the river, giving cultural flavor to the excursion. The journey is picturesque and tranquil until it reaches Dawangar, a small town where the trails separate. Camps are established here, offering a tranquil overnight stay in nature.

On this Day

The trail increasingly becomes more difficult as it ascends and the tree line fades. The path becomes steeper than the previous day, necessitating consistent pacing. Midway, trekkers come to Jabba, a lush green campsite that provides a nice resting location with panoramic views. Continuing, the trail leads to Palanchi, where a tiny alpine lake complements the splendor of the campsite. The final camping location is slightly ahead, providing a peaceful and scenic setting excellent for relaxation.

On this Day

This is the most challenging day of the walk, with a high-altitude pass crossing. The ascent becomes steep and physically demanding, particularly on the final stretch to the pass. Depending on the season, snow may still cover some of the trail, increasing the difficulty. The exertion is rewarded with beautiful views from the peak, followed by a snow-covered descent in sections. After crossing the mountain, trekkers arrive at verdant meadows on the opposite side, where they set up camp for a well-deserved break.

On this Day

After descending to river level, the walk becomes pleasant and restful, surrounded by lush foliage that lifts spirits. The route passes through Ambesh, a picturesque location with forests and little communities that provide breathtaking views. This location is recognized for its abundant trout population, and it marks the beginning of northern Pakistan's well-known fishing areas. When trekkers arrive at Handrap Lake, they are welcomed by crystal-clear waters loaded with visible trout. The camping beside the lake creates a lovely atmosphere for the night.

On this Day 

The final trekking day is quite short and easy, gradually returning to civilization. The route from Handrap Lake to Handrap Village takes around three hours and provides stunning views as well as a sense of accomplishment. The journey continues for another hour until reaching the Gilgit-Chitral road. When hikers get to Gulakhmuli, they can relax and reflect on their experience. An overnight stay in the village provides comfort and the opportunity to enjoy local hospitality after days in the woods.

After breakfast, participants proceed to Gilgit, passing through stunning mountain scenery and valleys. The route offers stunning views of rivers, steep terrain, and traditional towns, making for a peaceful transition from trekking to road travel. Stops along the way allow for refreshments and photos. Upon arrival in Gilgit, travelers check into a hotel to enjoy modern amenities, delicious food, and rest. This day is set aside for rehabilitation following the physically rigorous hike.

On this Day

Guests are transferred to Gilgit Airport for their return trip to Islamabad, depending on weather conditions. The trip provides breathtaking aerial views of the Karakoram and Himalayan peaks, making for an unforgettable experience. Upon arrival in Islamabad, participants are taken to their accommodation. The remainder of the day is free for leisure, shopping, or optional touring in the capital city. This concludes the adventure aspect of the tour, leaving time to relax before departing.

On this Day

On the final day, guests are taken to the airport for their international departure. Depending on the aircraft's itinerary, there may be time for last-minute shopping or leisure activities in Islamabad. The tour ends with unforgettable recollections of trekking through lonely valleys, traversing high mountain passes, and enjoying the natural splendor of northern Pakistan. Participants leave with a sense of accomplishment and a greater respect for the region's scenery, culture, and outdoor activities.

1. Early Bird Discount: The given prices for the holiday are limited-time discount offers and are subject to change. Service providers including (but not limited) to airlines and hotels increase prices in peak-season. Early reservations cost less than peak-season. 

2. Limited Flight Seats: Domestic flight seats to the Karakorams and Himalayas are sold out way ahead of time because there are only two daily flights during peak season. Among other things, the deposit is used to book domestic flights for you in advance.

3. Pay Balance after arrival in Pakistan: In these unusual times, we appreciate that paying the final balance for your trip may cause concern. Our policy is to only receive your final balance once you arrive in Pakistan. The only payment before arrival is the deposit.

4. Deposit valid for 3 years: We understand the uncertainty surrounding the pandemic (Covid-19). As part of our relaxed booking conditions following Covid-19, deposits are valid for 2 years. 

6. Pay Minimum Deposit: The deposits for the holiday are also early-bird discounts and automatically change accordingly:

  • 1st October: USD 190
  • 1st November: USD 290
  • 1st January: USD 350
  • 15th February: USD 400
  • 1st March: USD 450
  • 1st May: USD 490

Refund Policy for All

Deposit: Once paid, the deposit is non-refundable (but valid for 2 years) as it will be spent on making in-country arrangements. 

Balance: Pay the balance only after arrival in Pakistan on the first day. Payment guidelines will be shared timely.

Currency

All international travelers can pay in US Dollars (USD) or equivalent in Euros (EUR) or Pound Sterling (GBP). Pakistani travelers are charged the equivalent in Pakistani Rupees (PKR).

Single Supplement

Separate hotel rooms (single supplement) will cost an additional USD 290. This includes all hotel nights. This payment should be made with the balance upon arrival.

Separate tents (single tent) will cost an additional USD 180. This includes the cost of additional porterage. This payment should also be made with the balance in Pakistan.
