Upon arrival, you will tour the famed Bamiyan Buddha Niches, which are the ruins of huge sculptures carved into the cliffs and were once towering icons of Afghanistan's Buddhist heritage. The neighboring valleys and mountain views heighten the sense of history and wonder.

A full-day journey takes you to Band-e-Amir, Afghanistan's first national park, known for its turquoise lakes and stunning limestone cliffs.
