Upon arrival, a leisurely journey will take you to Hunza Karimabad along the Karakoram Highway, which passes through stunning mountain scenery. In the event of a flight cancellation due to weather, the journey will be completed by road. When participants arrive in Karimabad, they will check into a hotel and relax.

On this Day

Today, the tour continues with a thrilling jeep ride from Hunza to Shimshal Valley, which is famed for its secluded beauty and strong mountaineering tradition. The route winds through rocky terrain alongside the Shimshal River, providing breathtaking views of the cliffs and glaciers. When trekkers arrive at Shimshal hamlet, they will stay in local lodgings and interact with the locals, learning about the distinctive culture of this high-altitude settlement.

On this Day

The trekking journey begins today, as the group departs Shimshal hamlet for Furzin Camp. The trail gently ascends over rocky terrain and alpine pastures, offering a comfortable start to the climb. Trekkers will walk for several hours, taking in panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. When the team arrives at Furzin, they will pitch their tents, eat a warm lunch, and prepare for the more rigorous days ahead.

On this Day

Following breakfast, the trip continues to Arbab-e-Purien via a picturesque path through wide valleys and mountainous scenery. The trail features gentle ascents and descents, allowing hikers to gradually build stamina. Along the trip, there are opportunities to see wildlife and traditional grazing grounds used by people. Upon arrival, the campsite has breathtaking mountain views, making it an ideal area to recover and acclimate for the next higher elevations.

On this Day

Today's trip takes you from Arbab-e-Purien to Shujerab, a high-altitude meadow surrounded by towering peaks. The terrain becomes more difficult, with longer walking times and steeper sections. Trekkers will encounter changing scenery as foliage thins and the terrain becomes harsher. When the group arrives at Shujerab, they will pitch their tents and enjoy the peace of this remote location while preparing for the major altitude rise that will occur in the coming days.

On this Day

This is a momentous day since hikers will pass the famed Shimshal Pass at 4,735 meters. The ascent is gentle but strenuous due to the height, with breathtaking vistas of snow-covered peaks. After crossing the pass, the trail descends to Shuvwert Camp. The sensation of accomplishment upon reaching this historic pass is enormous. Upon arrival at camp, hikers will relax and recover while taking in the breathtaking high-altitude surroundings.

On this Day

The group climbs deeper into desolate terrain, eventually arriving at Dildar Pass Base Camp. The trail becomes harder, crossing stony slopes and glacial streams. The terrain evolves into a high-altitude wilderness with sparse vegetation and expansive views. Tents will be set up at the base camp in preparation for the difficult climb over Dildar Pass the next day.

On this Day

Today is one of the most challenging and rewarding days of the journey, with hikers crossing Dildar Pass at 5,400 meters. The ascent includes steep sections and requires careful navigation through rocky, perhaps snow-covered terrain. At the summit, hikers are rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding glaciers and peaks. After crossing the pass, the group descends to the other side and makes camp around the base area.

On this Day

Following the difficult pass crossing, today's walk provides a reasonably steady approach to Camp Virjerab. The trail travels through glacial valleys and open terrain, allowing trekkers to appreciate the majesty of the Karakoram region. The walking pace is moderate, which allows participants to recover from the previous day's exertion. Once at camp, the team will relax and prepare for the approach to the Virjerab Glacier.

On this Day

Today's journey leads to the spectacular Virjerab Glacier. Trekkers must cross rocky pathways and moraine terrain, which requires careful footing. The scenery grows more spectacular as the glacier comes into view, with towering ice formations and rough surroundings. When you arrive at the glacier camp, tents will be pitched near the glacier, providing you with a one-of-a-kind high-altitude camping experience.

On this Day

Today's trek takes us farther up the Virjerab Glacier, through ice and difficult terrain. The walk takes concentration and coordination as trekkers navigate moraine and glacier portions. The surroundings are dominated by ice, snow, and towering peaks, creating a strange atmosphere. When the group reaches the upper glacier area, they will set up camp and recuperate, ready for greater altitude exploration in the coming days.

On this Day

The trail continues higher into the Virjerab Glacier High Camp, bringing hikers closer to the base of Virjerab Pass. The course includes moderate elevation climb and increasingly frigid temperatures. The environment becomes even more stunning with panoramic views of glaciers and nearby peaks. Once at high camp, the team will rest, hydrate, and prepare for the final ascent to Virjerab Pass.

On this Day

This is the highest stage of the walk, with hikers ascending to Virgerab Pass at 5,988 meters. The hike is physically challenging due to the altitude and terrain, but the peak provides amazing views. Trekkers will spend time at the pass before settling into camp nearby. The sense of accomplishment is profound, and it represents a key highlight of the journey in one of the most remote sections of the Karakoram.

On this Day

After successfully reaching Virjerab Pass, the group continues their return journey, descending to the Upper Virjerab Glacier. The descent is simpler, but be cautious on the glacier ground. Trekkers will retrace their paths while viewing familiar scenery from a different perspective. After reaching camp, the team will rest and reflect on their accomplishment of crossing one of the trek's highest passes.

On this Day

The route continues lower to Virjerab Glacier Camp. The descent allows hikers to travel at their own leisure while taking in the breathtaking glacial scenery once more. As the height decreases, the terrain becomes less difficult. Participants will have time to relax, recoup, and enjoy their sense of success following the high-altitude trials.

On this Day

Today's journey takes us down to a lower area camp, which provides a notable shift in scenery and altitude. The course gets easier, with fewer technical sections and more stable terrain. Trekkers will begin to feel the benefits of descending, such as increased energy levels. Upon arrival, the campsite provides a peaceful resting place as the expedition gradually returns to society.

On this Day

The final trekking day returns the group to Shimshal Village. Trekkers can ponder on their journey across the isolated highlands as they descend along familiar pathways. Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed back to the village and given comfortable lodging. This evening is a chance to celebrate, share tales, and reflect on the great experience that has been completed.

On this Day

After breakfast, the group left Shimshal and returned to Hunza Karimabad by jeep. The return route provides another opportunity to appreciate the rough beauty of the region. Upon arrival in Karimabad, participants will check into a hotel and enjoy the convenience of modern amenities. The evening is free for rest and contemplation on the hike.

On this Day

Today is spent touring the stunning Hunza Valley, which includes excursions to old forts, local markets, and magnificent vistas. Trekkers can immerse themselves in the region's culture and hospitality while taking in panoramic views of prominent peaks. This leisurely day allows participants to unwind after the excursion and enjoy the beauty of Hunza's rich heritage.

On this Day

Following breakfast, the group will travel across the Karakoram Highway from Hunza to Gilgit. The trek provides stunning views of mountains, rivers, and traditional villages. Upon arriving in Gilgit, guests will settle into a hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure. This represents the transition from the rural trekking environment to urban amenities.

On this Day

Participants will fly from Gilgit to Islamabad, capturing one more aerial view of the beautiful Himalayas. In the event of a flight cancellation, travel will proceed by road. When the group arrives in Islamabad, they will be transferred to a hotel and enjoy a relaxing overnight, signaling the near end of their voyage.

On this Day

Following breakfast, participants will be taken to Islamabad International Airport for their return flights. This marks the end of the Dildar Pass Trek, leaving trekkers with amazing memories of high-altitude adventure, spectacular vistas, and cultural experiences in one of the world's most remote and picturesque locations.
