Day 02: Fly/Drive to Chitral
On this Day
Depart from Islamabad early, either by airplane or picturesque drive down the Swat Expressway, which passes through lush valleys and mountain scenery. Stop for lunch in Dir or Drosh, tasting local cuisine and taking short stops along the way. Continue your journey to Chitral, eventually entering the gorgeous Hindukush region. When you arrive, go to Shahi Masjid and explore Chitral Bazaar. Settle into your accommodation and have a relaxing evening. Overnight stay in Chitral.
Day 03: Chitral - Mastuj - Lasht
On this Day
Begin your day by driving toward Mastuj, following the Chitral River through breathtaking mountain landscapes. En route, visit Mastuj Fort and the lovely Parwak town to learn about local culture and scenery. Continue your journey to Lasht, the final village before entering Broghil Valley. Arrive in the late evening and check into a traditional homestay, where you may discover village life and connect with the people. Enjoy a peaceful night surrounded by mountains. Overnight stay in Lasht.
Day 04: Lasht - Broghil Valley Exploration

Enter the distant and spectacular Broghil Valley National Park, renowned for its high-altitude plains and distinct Wakhi culture. Visit traditional Wakhi communities to see how their unique lifestyles have evolved to cope with tough environments. Discover breathtaking glacial lakes like Sheosar and Rogzar, surrounded by immense open spaces. Witness the famed yak polo fields, a cultural attraction of the area. Enjoy a traditional Wakhi lunch before retiring for the evening. Overnight stay in a lakeside camp or homestay in Broghil.
Day 05: Trek to Broghil Pass (3,882m)

When you reach the pass at 3,882 meters, you'll be treated to a unique and stunning view of Afghanistan over the border, making for an amazing experience. Day 06: Trek back to Ishkarwaz

Following breakfast, start your descent from Broghil Pass, retracing your steps through the wide high-altitude environment. The return hike provides additional perspectives on the valley's magnificence, including the opportunity to spot wildlife and appreciate the calm of undisturbed nature. Continue trekking toward Ishkarwaz, an isolated village in Broghil Valley. Arrive in the afternoon and unwind after a long journey while experiencing modest native hospitality. Spend the evening swapping stories with other tourists. Stay overnight in Ishkarwaz.
Day 07: Drive to Lasht

Begin your return journey with a picturesque drive from Ishkarwaz back to Lasht village. The journey leads you back through the breathtaking surroundings of Broghil Valley, allowing you to rediscover its distinct charm. Stop along the journey for photos and short stops to admire the great open plains and distant peaks. Arrive in Lasht in the afternoon and settle into your accommodation. Spend the evening unwinding and reflecting on your trekking adventure. Overnight stay in Lasht.
Day 08: Lasht – Mastuj – Chitral
On this Day
Depart Lasht and head back to Chitral, passing via Mastuj and following the meandering river valleys. Before continuing your journey, make a small stop at Mastuj to rest and enjoy refreshments. The drive provides one last opportunity to see the stunning panorama of the Hindukush mountains. Arrive at Chitral in the evening and settle into your hotel. Spend the evening at leisure, possibly exploring the bazaar or sampling local food. Spend the night at Chitral.
Day 09: Fly/Drive to Islamabad
On this Day
Leave Chitral early in the morning, either by air or by car, depending on availability and weather conditions. The ride back provides final vistas of the spectacular mountains and valleys you've explored. If traveling by car, make scenic stops along the way for relaxation and refreshments. Arrive in Islamabad in the evening and transfer to your hotel. Spend your final night in Pakistan relaxing or shopping for mementos. Overnight stay in Islamabad.
Day 10: Fly for home country
On this Day
After breakfast, ready to depart from Islamabad. Transfer to the airport for your international trip home, bringing back amazing memories of the Broghil Valley trek and its breathtaking scenery. Why Register Early?
1. Early Bird Discount: The given prices for the holiday are limited-time discount offers and are subject to change. Service providers including (but not limited) to airlines and hotels increase prices in peak-season. Early reservations cost less than peak-season.
2. Limited Flight Seats: Domestic flight seats to the Karakorams and Himalayas are sold out way ahead of time because there are only two daily flights during peak season. Among other things, the deposit is used to book domestic flights for you in advance.
3. Pay Balance after arrival in Pakistan: In these unusual times, we appreciate that paying the final balance for your trip may cause concern. Our policy is to only receive your final balance once you arrive in Pakistan. The only payment before arrival is the deposit.
4. Deposit valid for 3 years: We understand the uncertainty surrounding the pandemic (Covid-19). As part of our relaxed booking conditions following Covid-19, deposits are valid for 2 years.
6. Pay Minimum Deposit: The deposits for the holiday are also early-bird discounts and automatically change accordingly:

Refund Policy for All
Deposit: Once paid, the deposit is non-refundable (but valid for 2 years) as it will be spent on making in-country arrangements.
Balance: Pay the balance only after arrival in Pakistan on the first day. Payment guidelines will be shared timely.
Currency
All international travelers can pay in US Dollars (USD) or equivalent in Euros (EUR) or Pound Sterling (GBP). Pakistani travelers are charged the equivalent in Pakistani Rupees (PKR).
Single Supplement
Separate hotel rooms (single supplement) will cost an additional USD 290. This includes all hotel nights. This payment should be made with the balance upon arrival.
Separate tents (single tent) will cost an additional USD 180. This includes the cost of additional porterage. This payment should also be made with the balance in Pakistan.
