Day 02: Bukhara – Samarkand
On this Day
After breakfast at the hotel, you have the day free to explore Bukhara freely. Apricot Tours may arrange a countryside sightseeing tour upon request and for an additional fee. This optional excursion includes a visit to the Samanids Mausoleum, a marvel of early medieval construction, and the Naqshbandi Mausoleum, Bahauddin Naqshbandi's venerated tomb complex and a major pilgrimage destination symbolizing the Sufi order's spiritual legacy. A visit to Sitora-i-Mohi Khosa, the last Emir of Bukhara's summer palace, can also be arranged upon request. Later, transfer to the train station for your journey to Samarkand. Upon arrival, meet the driver and proceed to the hotel. Time at leisure is followed by an overnight stay in Samarkand.
Day 03: Samarkand – Tashkent

Following breakfast at the hotel, touring in Samarkand begins with a visit to the magnificent Gur Emir Mausoleum, the final burial place of Amir Timur and his successors. The program proceeds to the historic Registan Square, where Ulughbek Madrassa, Sherdor Madrassa, and Tilla Kori Madrassa will be showcased. Further investigation includes the massive Bibi Khanim Mosque, historically one of the most spectacular mosques in the Islamic world, as well as the Shahi Zinda Necropolis, which features richly painted mausoleums.
