Overview – Bunar Valley Tour
The Bunar Valley Tour (up to Diamero Village) provides an exciting excursion through one of Diamer’s lesser-known mountain valleys. Beginning in Chilas, the course follows the Karakoram Highway before turning into Bunar Das. A rocky jeep route leads into the parched and spectacular Bunar Valley. Along the trip, visitors will encounter sheer cliffs, tiny gorges, scattered vegetation, and traditional mountain communities. Furthermore, the changing environment highlights the stark contrasts between the Indus Valley and the higher mountain regions. The path also takes a historical approach to Nanga Parbat’s Diamir side.
The journey continues further till it reaches Diamero Village, also called Dimroi in various travel sources. The community is situated in a lonely setting characterized by rivers, rocky slopes, and traditional rural life. As a result, the excursion is ideal for those seeking scenery, culture, photography, and off-road adventure outside of Chilas. Visitors can enjoy the valley’s tranquil atmosphere while admiring the local communities and impressive natural structures. The return journey follows the same rough terrain to Bunar Das and Chilas. Overall, the tour mixes wildness, culture, and mountain splendor into one unforgettable day experience.
