On this Day

After breakfast at the yurt camp, the road continues to Ashgabat, where a detailed city tour begins. The journey includes a visit to Ancient Nisa, which houses the remnants of a Parthian capital. The program continues with the Turkmenbashi Mosque-Mausoleum, which is recognized for its magnificent dimensions and planted environs, and the Ertogrul Gazy Mosque, which is distinguished by its Ottoman-inspired style. Guests can also visit Independence Park, which has a tall monument and a rotating Neutrality Arch, as well as the National Museum of Turkmenistan, which houses rich treasures from Nisa and Merv. After that, they can relax at the hotel for the night.

On this Day

A takeaway breakfast is served before the transfer to the airport for the journey to Mary. Upon arrival, the journey continues to Ancient Merv, one of Central Asia's most important archaeological sites. The tour includes the historical park with the Sultan Sanjar and Mohammed bin Said mausoleums, the medieval "keshk" strongholds from the early centuries, and the regional history museum, which showcases Merv's extensive cultural tradition. Following the site exploration, the journey continues to the Farab-Alat land border for crossing formalities. On the Uzbek side, a fresh driver joins the group and takes them to Bukhara, where the journey closes with hotel accommodations.
