Itinerary – Gappa Valley & Boyin Meadows – Day Trip
Depart Karimabad and drive to Chalt via the picturesque landscapes of Hunza and Nagar. Continue via Chahlat Bala on a rocky mountain track that requires a four-wheel drive vehicle. The trail progressively ascends via little communities, terraced farms, pine trees, streams, and magnificent mountainsides. Gappa Valley has stunning alpine landscapes, tranquil picnic places, and panoramic views of Rakaposhi and the surrounding snow-capped summits.
After exploring the valley, head to Boyin Meadows with an expert local guide. Take a refreshing walk across the wide pastures, take photographs, and relax in the peaceful alpine atmosphere. Later, descend via the Gappa Valley and Chalt before returning to Karimabad. The upper road is unpaved, so check local road conditions before leaving.
