Itinerary – Hapakun Trek (Nagar Valley) – Two-Day Trip
Day 01: Karimabad to Minapin and Hapakun Meadows
Depart Karimabad, Hunza, and head to Minapin Village in Nagar Valley. After arriving at Minapin, begin the upward climb through forested slopes, mountain trails, and lovely grazing fields. Continue towards Hapakun Meadows, taking in views of Rakaposhi, Diran Peak, and the surrounding valleys. When you arrive, set up camp in the peaceful alpine meadow. Spend the evening watching the sunset over the mountains and sipping tea with stunning panoramic views. Later, have dinner outside under the stars before retiring to the tent for the night.
Day 02: Hapakun Exploration and Return to Karimabad
Wake up early to catch a breathtaking sunrise over Hapakun Meadows and the neighboring Karakoram peaks. Explore the meadow, shoot the stunning scenery, and meet local shepherds who live in seasonal mountain huts. Guests can also sample traditional fresh milk and locally produced desi ghee. Depending on fitness, weather, and route conditions, adventurers can carry on to Tagaphari, also known as Rakaposhi Base Camp. Then, return to the Hapakun campground, pack your gear, and descend to Minapin Village. From Minapin, drive back across Nagar Valley to Karimabad, Hunza.

The route begins in Karimabad, Hunza, and continues to Minapin Village in the Nagar Valley. From there, trekkers take a steady uphill path through forests, grazing pastures, and steep alpine terrain. Along the route, breathtaking vistas of Rakaposhi, Diran Peak, and the Minapin Glacier emerge. Furthermore, the serene surroundings make each leg of the journey unique.
