Itinerary – Shiqamar Trek
Shiqamar Trek (Nagar Valley) – Day Trip
Depart from Karimabad and descend toward Aliabad before joining the Karakoram Highway. Continue driving along the Hunza-Nagar corridor toward Qasimabad, also known as Masoot. Meet a local guide in the hamlet and go to the trailhead in a suitable vehicle, depending on track conditions.
Begin your trek through agricultural terraces, village pathways, and steep mountain slopes towards Shiqamar Meadows. Continue slowly to the main viewpoint and wide grazing meadows, where you may relax, snap photos, and have a picnic surrounded by Nagar’s distant mountain landscape. After exploring the meadows, continue down the same trail to Qasimabad. After completing the Shiqamar Trek, return to Karimabad via the Karakoram Highway.
