Day 02: Travel to Faizabad
On this Day
Take a long overland journey through northern Afghanistan to Faizabad, the capital of Badakhshan Province. The scenery on the route varies from city fringes to rural valleys. Overnight in Faizabad at local guesthouse/hotel
Driving: 12 hours | Altitude: 1200m
Day 03: Drive to Ishkashim
On this Day
Continue northeast toward Ishkashim, which serves as the Wakhan Corridor's gateway. This small border village is located along the Panj River, opposite Tajikistan. Overnight in Ishkashim at local guesthouse
Driving: 4–5 hours | Altitude: 2600m
Day 04: Travel to Qazideh
On this Day
After breakfast, drive for less than an hour to Qazideh hamlet, the trailhead for the Noshaq walk. Spend the afternoon prepping equipment and meeting with the support crew. Overnight in Qazideh guesthouse or camp

Day 05: Trek to Noshaq Valley Camp (~3600m)

Begin your excursion along the Wakhan River before entering into the Noshaq Valley. The trail progressively ascends across rocky terrain, offering views of snow-capped hills towering above. Camp at a gorgeous location beside the valley. Overnight in tents

Day 06: Trek to Noshaq Base Camp (4450m)
On this Day
Continue going deeper into the valley, passing glacial streams and navigating rocky moraines. Arrive in Noshaq Base Camp (4450m) at midday, beneath Afghanistan's tallest peak. The position provides amazing views of Noshaq (7492 meters) and three more peaks above 7000 meters. Overnight camping at the base camp.

Day 07: Exploration at Noshaq Base Camp
On this Day
Spend the entire day wandering around Noshaq Base Camp. Take short excursions to neighboring vistas, glacial ridges, and alpine meadows. This is an excellent opportunity to picture soaring peaks, glacier vistas, and the high altitude environment. Overnight camping at the base camp.

Day 08: Trek back to Qazideh
On this Day
Retrace your steps down the valley, gently descending to Qazideh. The easier downhill approach allows for more time to admire the beauty and mingle with Wakhi herders along the trail. Stay overnight at a Qazideh guesthouse or camp.
Trekking: 6–7 hours
Day 09: Back to Faizabad/Kunduz
On this Day
Drive out of the mountains, retracing your journey to Faizabad or Kunduz. This is a lengthy travel day, but the sights are spectacular as you leave the Wakhan behind. Overnight in Faizabad or Kunduz at local guesthouse
Driving: 10 hours
Day 10: Drive to Kabul
On this Day
Make the long drive back to Kabul across the Hindu Kush spine. En route, pass over the legendary Salang Pass and Salang Tunnel, which is a remarkable high-altitude crossing. Overnight in Kabul at the hotel.
Driving: 10–12 hours
Day 11: Departure From Afghanistan
On this Day
After breakfast, travel to Kabul International Airport for your departing flight. Services have come to an end.

1. Early Bird Discount: The given prices for the holiday are limited-time discount offers and are subject to change. Service providers including (but not limited) to airlines and hotels increase prices in peak-season. Early reservations cost less than peak-season.
2. Limited Flight Seats: Domestic flight seats to the Pamir and Himalayas are sold out way ahead of time because there are only two daily flights during peak season. Among other things, the deposit is used to book domestic flights for you in advance.
3. Pay Balance after arrival in Afghanistan: In these unusual times, we appreciate that paying the final balance for your trip may cause concern. Our policy is to only receive your final balance once you arrive in Afghanistan. The only payment before arrival is the deposit.
4. Deposit valid for 3 years: We understand the uncertainty surrounding the pandemic (Covid-19). As part of our relaxed booking conditions following Covid-19, deposits are valid for 2 years.

Refund Policy for All
Deposit: Once paid, the deposit is non-refundable (but valid for 2 years) as it will be spent on making in-country arrangements.
Balance: Pay the balance only after arrival in Afghanistan on the first day. Payment guidelines will be shared timely.
Currency
All international travelers can pay in US Dollars (USD) or equivalent in Euros (EUR) or Pound Sterling (GBP). Pakistani travelers are charged the equivalent in Pakistani Rupees (PKR).
Single Supplement
Separate hotel rooms (single supplement) will cost an additional USD 290. This includes all hotel nights. This payment should be made with the balance upon arrival.
Separate tents (single tent) will cost an additional USD 180. This includes the cost of additional porterage. This payment should also be made with the balance in Afghanistan.
