Day 02: Travel in Faizabad
On this Day
Your adventure will begin in Kabul. From there, continue north, going through Gulbahar and entering the Hindukush mountains via the Salang Tunnel. After entering Baghlan, proceed east to Faizabad, Badakhshan's province capital. The day will conclude with an overnight stay at a reputable hotel in Faizabad.
Day 03: Travel to Ishkashim

The adventure continues as you travel from Faizabad to Ishkashim in the rural northeast. The drive takes you via breathtaking valleys and mountain roads to this small village, which serves as the Wakhan Corridor's gateway. Upon arrival, you will spend the night at a small guesthouse.
Day 04: Ishkashim to Qila-e Panja
On this Day
Following breakfast in Ishkashim, the journey continues along the ancient Wakhan Corridor to Qila-e Panja. The road follows a mythical route originally taken by Silk Road travelers such as Marco Polo and the Chinese monk Hsuan Tsang. Qila-e Panja, located at the confluence of the Pamir and Wakhan Rivers that create the Panj, has Sassanid roots. Overnight accommodations are in a small guesthouse.
Day 05: Journey from Qila-e-Panja to Nirs Camp

Depart from the historic town of Qila-e-Panja and travel through picturesque Wakhi villages surrounded by fertile farmland and steep mountains. The path leads through the upper Wakhan Valley, gradually ascending to Nirs Camp. Along the route, you'll come across traditional stone buildings, grazing herds, and friendly inhabitants, providing a real view into Wakhi culture and daily life in the stunning Hindu Kush mountains.
Day 06: Trek to Broghil Pass (3,882m)

Trek from Nirs across undulating alpine meadows to the large, grassy Broghil Pass at 3,882 metres. This historic pass is the lowest point in the Hindu Kush Range and offers panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and Pakistan's Chitral region. The crossing is ideal for horseback riding and embodies the region's everlasting frontier attitude.
Day 07: Trek to Ishkarwaz

From the pass, you descend toward Ishkarwaz. The trail traverses alpine fields, slopes, and glacier streams. The scenery gradually softens as you reach the valley where Ishkarwaz is located.
Day 08: Travel from Ishkarwaz to Yarkhun Lasht
On this Day
Travel by four-wheel jeep through breathtaking alpine scenery, crossing small bridges and meadows along the Chitral River. The path passes through picturesque communities surrounded by snow-capped peaks and fertile valleys. As the landscape opens into Yarkhun Lasht, take in the changing scenery and crisp alpine air before settling into camp for some relaxation and a traditional supper beneath the stars.
Day 09: Drive to Mastuj

Continue your drive to Mastuj via the picturesque Yarkhun Valley. The trip provides breathtaking views of towering cliffs, glacial streams, and lush fields filled with walnut trees. Along the way, you'll see historic forts and welcoming mountain towns. Mastuj, with its historic fort ruins and tranquil surroundings, provides a nice respite before entering the heart of the Chitral region.
Day 10: Drive to Chitral and explore

Drive to Chitral, the lively cultural center of northern Pakistan. Explore the town's vibrant bazaar, the old Shahi Mosque, and the Chitral Fort, which overlooks the river. The settlement is located beneath Tirich Mir, the Hindu Kush's tallest peak, which provides a breathtaking backdrop. Chitral's combination of history, mountain charm, and friendly hospitality make it an ideal spot to unwind.
Day 11: Drive to Islamabad
On this Day
The travel from Chitral to Islamabad usually takes 9 to 10 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. The journey is picturesque, traversing through high terrain and providing stunning vistas along the way. Make sure to stop in any of the attractive villages and towns along the way, such as Dir and Swat, to enjoy the region's natural splendor.
Day 12: Fly to home country

Our staff will transfer all our guests to the airport on their respective departure timings. The checkout time of all our partner hotels is noon.
Why Register Early?
1. Early Bird Discount: The given prices for the holiday are limited-time discount offers and are subject to change. Service providers including (but not limited) to airlines and hotels increase prices in peak-season. Early reservations cost less than peak-season.
2. Limited Flight Seats: Domestic flight seats to the Pamir and Himalayas are sold out way ahead of time because there are only two daily flights during peak season. Among other things, the deposit is used to book domestic flights for you in advance.
3. Pay Balance after arrival in Afghanistan: In these unusual times, we appreciate that paying the final balance for your trip may cause concern. Our policy is to only receive your final balance once you arrive in Afghanistan. The only payment before arrival is the deposit.
4. Deposit valid for 3 years: We understand the uncertainty surrounding the pandemic (Covid-19). As part of our relaxed booking conditions following Covid-19, deposits are valid for 2 years.

Refund Policy for All
Deposit: Once paid, the deposit is non-refundable (but valid for 2 years) as it will be spent on making in-country arrangements.
Balance: Pay the balance only after arrival in Afghanistan on the first day. Payment guidelines will be shared timely.
Currency
All international travelers can pay in US Dollars (USD) or equivalent in Euros (EUR) or Pound Sterling (GBP). Pakistani travelers are charged the equivalent in Pakistani Rupees (PKR).
Single Supplement
Separate hotel rooms (single supplement) will cost an additional USD 290. This includes all hotel nights. This payment should be made with the balance upon arrival.
Separate tents (single tent) will cost an additional USD 180. This includes the cost of additional porterage. This payment should also be made with the balance in Afghanistan.
