Depart Skardu and travel down the Gilgit-Skardu Road to Rondu, taking in the breathtaking alpine scenery and uninterrupted views of the Indus River. Continue through Dambudas to Thowar Valley, which is located along the river that connects Skardu and Gilgit. Explore the settlement, the surrounding farmed landscapes, village roads, and the overlooks that overlook the mountainous valley corridor. Rondu’s tranquil rural nature can be experienced while witnessing local life and traditional mountain landscapes. After visiting the valley and taking photos, return to Skardu by the same magnificent Indus road.
