Begin the Chorbat Valley Tour in Khaplu, then take the picturesque Shyok Valley Road into the wild surroundings of Ghanche District. Travel along the Shyok River through rocky mountain gorges and farmed communities to old Siksa, once known as Chorbat village. Continue through Hassanabad and other traditional villages, taking in views of terraced fields, orchards, towering cliffs, and the river corridor. Explore the upper parts of Chorbat Valley before retracing the scenic riverbank route back to Khaplu.
