Itinerary – Arandu Valley Tour (2 Days Trip)
The itinerary for the tour is given below.
Day 01: Skardu to Arandu Valley via Basha Valley
Depart Skardu and drive through Shigar to the picturesque Basha Valley. Pass through Tisar and follow the Basha River to Chutran, which is noted for its medicinal hot springs and picturesque terraced fields beneath the Haramosh Range. Continue through Dogoro and Bisil, past traditional villages, farmed slopes, and breathtaking mountain scenery. Continue deeper into the upper valley toward isolated Arandu, the last village near Chogo Lungma Glacier. Explore the village’s surroundings and spend the night at Arandu.
Day 02: Explore Arandu Valley – Return to Skardu
Explore Arandu Valley by going through the settlement and taking in views of the upper Basha River, cultivated fields, steep peaks, and the Chogo Lungma Glacier surroundings. Discover the distant Balti scenery before returning via Bisil and Dogoro. Stop near Hemesil to enjoy the waterfall and verdant valley landscape, then continue past Chutran and Tisar. Follow the upper Shigar Valley back to Skardu, capping off a fantastic tour throughout Basha Valley and Arandu.
