Depart Karimabad and go through Aliabad before connecting the Karakoram Highway to Nagar. Continue along the magnificent Hunza-Nagar corridor to Chalt, which is bordered by rocky mountains, farmed fields, and traditional villages. From Chalt, take the mountain road through Budalas to Bar Khas. The Chalt-Bar Khas route is approximately 18 km long and penetrates deeper into the gentler landscapes of Bar Valley.
Explore Bar Khas’ tranquil settings, which include terraced fields, orchards, mountain streams, and traditional communities. Visit gorgeous views throughout the valley to enjoy photography, short walks, and interaction with the locals. Depending on road and path conditions, continue to Shiltar Waterfall or other adjacent natural sites. After lunch, retrace your path through Budalas and Chalt before returning to Karimabad.
