Day 01: Full-Day Shigar Valley Tour
Depart Skardu and go to Shigar Valley, passing across the stunning Sarfaranga Cold Desert and the picturesque Blind Lake, also known as Jarba Zhou. Continue to Shigar to visit the historic Shigar Fort, a restored cultural site showcasing traditional Balti architecture. Visit the neighboring Amburiq Mosque, one of Baltistan’s most significant historic mosques, and then explore the valley’s orchards, towns, mountain vistas, and views along the Shigar River. After the sightseeing excursion, return to Skardu via the stunning vistas of the lower Shigar Valley.
