Day 01: Khaplu – Barah Valley Tour – Khaplu
Depart Khaplu and drive for about 20 minutes to Barah Valley, located by the Shyok River. Explore the calm village, natural springs, fish farms, orchards, farmed fields, and picturesque riverbank scenery. Spend time going through the village and seeing typical Balti rural life in the dramatic mountain scenery. Enjoy photography and leisurely sightseeing before returning to Khaplu via the same path. The return journey takes around 20 minutes, capping off an easy and scenic day excursion.
