Day 01: Skardu – Tormik Valley – Skardu
Depart Skardu and drive down the Skardu-Gilgit Road into Roundu, taking in vistas of the Indus River and harsh mountain landscapes. Proceed toward Tormik Valley, passing across traditional Balti towns, terraced fields, and lush countryside. Explore Tormik hamlet before heading to the picturesque highland area, which is famed for lush meadows, clear streams, springs, and alpine vistas. Enjoy short excursions, photography, and a picnic in the calm surroundings before returning to Skardu by the same path.
