Itinerary – Narul Pasture Trek (2 Days)

Day 01: Skardu to Narul Pasture
Depart Skardu and head toward Ghanche District, along the picturesque Baltistan route to the Balghar-Narul area. After arriving at the local trailhead, begin trekking into Narul, Ghola Valley along mountain routes carved by streams, rocky slopes, and seasonal grazing areas. Continue gently toward Narul Pasture, with expansive views of the surrounding Karakoram scenery. When you arrive, set up your campsite, explore the neighboring meadow, meet local herders if they are there, and enjoy the peaceful highland scenery before spending the night at Narul Pasture.
Day 02: Narul Pasture to Skardu
Explore more of Narul Pasture and the surrounding mountains, taking in panoramic views of Ghanche’s secluded valleys. Begin the return walk through Narul Valley, following the trail past grazing slopes, streams, rocky terrain, and scattered alpine plants. Reach the roadhead and rejoin the car for the return trip to Skardu. The drive follows the Baltistan mountain corridor through historic communities and magnificent river vistas, culminating in a fascinating two-day trekking adventure that includes camping, hiking, and lesser-known sights.
