Depart Khaplu and take the picturesque Shyok Valley Road to Chorbat, going through rocky Karakoram mountains, riverside towns, and fertile areas along the Shyok River. Before heading to Siksa Valley, visit a viewpoint with spectacular views of Masherbrum. Explore Siksa hamlet, which features traditional Balti residences, terraced fields, orchards, irrigation channels, and cultivated landscapes produced by community water projects.
