Day 01: Karimabad – Baldiyat Meadows Trek – Karimabad
Depart Karimabad and travel down the Karakoram Highway to Sirat, near Attabad Lake, the designated starting location for the trek. Begin your difficult trek over rugged mountain terrain, alpine vegetation, and traditional grazing grounds overlooking Upper Hunza. Continue to Baldiyat Meadows, where shepherd cottages and open meadows form a solitary highland setting. The meadow offers panoramic views of Attabad Lake, the Attabad tunnels, Rakaposhi, Diran Peak, Golden Peak, and the Hispar Muztagh range. Before returning to Sirat via the same trail, explore the adjacent field and take in the breathtaking Karakoram panorama. Rejoin the van and head back to Karimabad.
