The Borith Lake & Passu White Glacier Trek provides a delightful getaway into Upper Hunza’s breathtaking mountain environment. First, visitors will explore serene Borith Lake, which is bordered by steep mountains and seasonal migratory birdlife. The trail then rises across rough moraine to the Passu Glacier viewpoint. Day 01: Full-Day Excursion to Borith Lake & Passu White Glacier
Depart from Karimabad and follow the Karakoram Highway to Upper Hunza, going by Attabad Lake, Gulmit, and Hussaini. Continue to Borith Lake, a serene saline lake surrounded by rough mountain landscape and famed for its migratory birdlife. Begin the hike from the lake to the Passu White Glacier viewpoint, via rough trails and glacial moraine landscape. Enjoy breathtaking views of the crevassed glacier, Passu Cones, and the surrounding Karakoram ranges. After visiting the viewpoint and taking photos, return to Borith Lake along the same trail. Rejoin the van and drive back through Gojal Valley, ending the day’s excursion in Karimabad with scenic breaks along the highway.

The day trek from Karimabad to Upper Hunza’s mountainous terrain. The journey begins with the Karakoram Highway, which takes you through Attabad Lake, Gulmit, and Hussaini before arriving at serene Borith Lake.
